A Pathway Into The Music Industry

Music Pathways CIC provides free professional mentoring to emerging music creators from disadvantaged backgrounds, helping them access sustainable work in the UK music industry.

We work one-to-one with participants to improve industry understanding, professional standards and readiness for paid opportunities.

Participants keep full ownership of their music and all income earned. The organisation is funded through grants and reinvests any surplus into further mentoring activity.

About Us

Music Pathways works to improve access to professional creative opportunities for people who might otherwise be excluded due to financial or social barriers. Through its programmes, participants gain skills, confidence, and industry knowledge that support long-term employment and income opportunities within the creative industries.

We work closely with participants to help them bring their music up to professional standards and share it with opportunities across television and other media produced by UK broadcasters. Using our established catalogue and trusted industry relationships, we open doors that are often hard to access. Participants always retain full ownership of their music, and Music Pathways never takes a share of any income or royalties generated from its use.
